On April 28th, walkers on the southern Via Francigena will arrive in Terracina

tableFor eight years a group of volunteers has been doing their utmost for the affirmation of a historical path along the Via Appia, the Via Francigena of the South.

At the beginning there were twelve, as many as the cities crossed by walkers, and formed the Group of Twelve.

 

Volunteers have not always found in their cities sensitive administrators willing to support the commitment to welcome pilgrims, especially taking care of cleaning the paths.

In these years the pilgrims left from the south to arrive in Rome and as they moved the departure from Garigliano to Sessa Aurunca until this time they arrived in Benevento.
